Description
Trailhead is across busy Hwy 25. Follow the orange blazes along the edge of open
field. At end of the open field, the trail turns slightly right and winds uphill and down through the hardwood bush. Careful to follow the orange blazed trail since there are ATV/dirt bike trails that criss-cross the hiking trail. Trail will come to a sharp right turn on the abandoned railbed and then comes out onto 3rd Line (end of RLT section 7).

Turn left on 3rd Line and walk over the rail line and to the intersection of Glen Lawson Rd. Turn right and continue on the road for approx. 400M before you get to the stile on the north side of the road. Climb over that stile, and in a short distance a second stile, then follow the fence line to yet a 3rd stile. Trail shortly turns left and be very careful to follow the orange blazes through the valley. The trail eventually heads up a steep hill, and at top of hill will be the view of the 4th Line.

Have a break, then turn around and head back.

Note - section 8 continues on the road 4th Line and SR 22 from that trailhead to Limehouse (official end of RLT).
