ABOUT GHTCThe Guelph Hiking Trail Club (GHTC) is a non-profit, charitable organization administered by a board of directors, elected each year at the annual general meeting. We are a volunteer organization that began in 1970 and was incorporated in 1974.
We organize hikes of varying length throughout the year, have some cross-country skiing outings in winter months and some biking events in the spring and fall. Members keep in touch through a regular newsletter, email updates, and fall/winter slide show presentations. Club business is carried out at monthly Executive Committee meetings and at an Annual General Meeting in November. The Guelph Hiking Trail Club would welcome you as a member. Thanks to a Community Benefit grant from the City of Guelph GHTC contracted Bloom Media to work with us to create a video about GHTC. | Membership MattersThe greater our membership base, the more we can accomplish, such as:

Membership in our Club demonstrates your desire to keep these trails open. Membership fees and donations are used for trail maintenance, newsletter production, and liability insurance.
