The 400 acre reservoir in Island Lake park was created in 1967 to control water flow into the Credit river. As we hike the trails around the lake we will traverse a .7km boardwalk and bridge that crosses the lake. Meet at 8:45am in Food Basics plaza at Eramosa Rd and Stevenson for a 9am departure. Or meet in Orangeville Zehrs plaza parking lot, hwy #10 and Fourth line close to traffic lights. Bring water, snacks and lunch to be enjoyed by the lake.
