 This event is cancelled due to poor ice conditions.


Non-members  are able to register for this hike now. Before you can register for hike you must read covid-19 screening questions and be able to answer NO to all of them. You will be asked questions again before hike and not be able to join if at that time you answer yes to any of them.

Masks must be worn at start of hike. A distance of 2 metres must be kept between non related hikers and masks MUST be worn where this is not possible.

If you are registered and can't make it please delete your registration or email leader to let them know.

Check website morning of hike in case of cancellation.

 Only a maximum of 10 registered hikers will be accepted.

Irvine Gorge (Elora) – skis or snowshoes are mandatory for this hugely scenic up-and–back, off-trail, mini-adventure from the Grand River up to “The Triple Drop” in this deep tributary gorge to the more famed Elora Gorge. Subject to good snow and ice conditions, (which are seldom realized) Difficult footing on staircase down into the gorge. Rendezvous at 9:30 at entrance to Victoria Park, Elora . Level 3; 2.5 hours. Pace moderate.

Check website night before in case ice conditions are not suitable and event cancelled.
