Guelph Hiking Trail Club is organizing Hike Leader Course on Sunday 19th Feb 9 am - 4:30 pm

Below are the points that you need to know before coming for the course.

Certified Hike Leader Course – Sunday, Feb 19, 2023, 9 AM-4:30 PM

- To be held at Longo’s second floor community room, Clair Rd. W., in south end of Guelph.
- Please arrive 10 minutes early to check in
- $50 cash or cheque payable to Hike Ontario
- Course certification will enable you to lead hikes on behalf of any HO hiking club in Ontario, and
to be insured by HO.
- No offsite food may be brought in, per Longo’s policy; lunch may be purchased at their excellent
deli counter at the foot of the stairs
- Come dressed and prepared to hike outside in the afternoon for one hour
- Bring a backpack with items you believe should take as the leader of an all day hike.
- Register early ….maximum 12 participants

-$25 will be reimbursed after 3 hikes

NOTE: The club has a policy to refund $25 of the fee after completion of three hikes
