RLT section 3 - Cove Valley bridge 10th anniversary event and optional hike

 What: it's the 10th anniversary of the official opening of the Cove Valley Bridge.

When: Saturday June 10, at 1pm

Where: park on 2nd Line Nassagaweya (just south of Eden Mills) at trailhead of RLT section 3 (closest fire sign is 13611 2nd Line  Nassagaweya, Milton which is just south of trailhead). Limited parking so carpool when possible. Follow the orange blazed trail west for approx. 0.7 km to where the Cove Valley bridge is located.

Who: there will be GHTC exec, current and former trail captains in attendance to say a few words.

Optional hike for event

For those wanting to combine a hike with this event, meet at intersection of Arkell Rd and Nassagawya line 1 (by the mail boxes) at 12:15.

We will hike part of section 3 of the radial line trail, stop at the bridge for the 10th anniversary event,  hike to line 2 and back. This is a fairly easy (one steep hill) appr 5km hike. Bring bug spray.

Only if you are doing hike registration is required.
