Introducing Work Party Mondays!
It's been a wet summer and some of our recreational trails have seen a lot of vegetation growth that require some TLC. We also have a number of infrastructure improvements to make on the trails. The Trail Coordinators got together and put together a tentative list of Monday projects we intend to plan for and execute.
The "Work party Monday" activity will be placemarked on the GHTC Events page. No later than a week before the event the leader of the event will provide time,place,work required, preferred crew size and any other relevant details so that members can decide if they want to help and sign up.
So mark the activity on your own calendars and check the website regularly to see if the project is one you would like to be involved in.
NB This does not mean we only run work party activities on Mondays but it gives us some structure that we can commit to.
