Grindstone Creek to Smokey Hollow Falls

Trail: Grindstone Creek to Smokey Hollow Falls (a there and back trail) plus a visit to the Royal Botanical Gardens after lunch in the park

Length: approximately 12km, level 2

Trail: dirt packed with uneven and rocky sections, lots of up and down sections, boardwalks in the RBG section, there is also some road walking from the parking lot to the trail. After lunch, from the Hidden Valley (Lower) Park, we hike into the Grindstone Marsh, which is a collaborative conservation area involving Parks Canada and as such the trails, boardwalks and viewing platforms in the Marsh are publicly accessed and free (no RBG ticketing required).
