Hike description:
Urban Hikes are traditionally defined as an adventurous walk around a city. Urban Hiking is a walk in the city that includes a sense of adventure. It embraces the urban environment by adventuring through parks, climbing stairwells, crossing intersections, and meandering through the city’s obstacles of life. We add a little time for a yoga break (stretching). Join us for a coffee/tea stop nearing or at the end of our hike.
Approx. 5-8km, easy to moderate pace.
Meeting locations
October 9 - Eramosa Trail (James Street Trail) - Eramosa River Park near Victoria Road Bridge
What to bring (e.g. lunch, water, icers, poles, bug repellent, etc.)
Hiking shoes, dress in layers as it's getting cooler, bring water, poles optional. Leashed dogs are welcome to join us.
