This multi-use tract is part of the Halton Regional Forest, Britton Complex. The first half of the trail on the wide access road is flat and relatively easy, but the second half when we venture onto HAFTA (Halton Agreement Forest Trail Association) single track bike loops, the terrain becomes quite uneven with fractured rocks, roots and some hills. We may be sharing the trails with mountain bikers.
Please bring water and snacks and dress for the weather. Sturdy hiking boots and hiking poles recommended. You are required to bring icers/crampons for winter hikes. No dogs please.
