Wed Adhoc hike - Grand River Trail Loop Hike

Carpool: Note that the hike leader will not be at the carpool location. Those wishing to carpool please email the hike leader by Tuesday at 3 PM and indicate whether you can offer a ride or will need a ride. Carpool should leave by 9:35 AM from the covered bridge parking lot at 114 Gordon St.

Hike: Meet the hike leader at the K.D. Woerner Family Trailway on Woolner Trail in Kitchener for a 10:00 AM start: https://goo.gl/maps/cNh2uqfrAzWCBXts6  Note that the trail head is across the street from 125 Woolner Trail, (a street). Parking is available in the Trailway parking lot and where Woolner Trail dead ends at the Grand River.

We will hike the Grand River and Grand Valley Trails to Chicopee Tube Park, then follow community trails back to the trail head.  Mostly wide, groomed trails. A few short, steep hills. Dress for the weather. Icers may be needed if we get freezing rain. Bring water and snacks. Distance: ~8.5 Km. Time: 2.0 to 2.5 hours, Level 2, Speed moderate.
