Fri morning - Section 2 Speed River Trail

Only GHTC Members  will be able to register for this hike until a couple of days prior to event. Before you can register for hike you must read covid-19 screening questions and be able to answer NO to all of them. You will be asked questions again before hike and not be able to join if at that time you answer yes to any of them.

Masks must be worn at start of hike. A minimum distance of 2 metres must be kept between non related hikers and masks MUST be worn where this is not possible.

If you are registered and can't make it please delete your registration or email leader to let her know.

Meet at 10:00 a.m. in the parking area where Whitelaw and Niska Road meet. (Turn left onto Whitelaw from Hwy 124 - opposite Wilson's used car lot and go to the end of Whitelaw, veer slightly right (sideroad 10)  and go to the parking area in cul de sac. We will walk down to the river and hike part of section 2 of the Speed River trail. The trail follows the river and is very pretty.

We may see a couple of swans if we're lucky.

This is a level 1 hike and will take about two hours in and out.
