CANCELLED Fri morning -Fletcher Creek Ecological Preserve

Only GHTC Members  will be able to register for this hike. Before you can register for hike you must read covid-19 screening questions and be able to answer NO to all of them. You will be asked questions again before hike and not be able to join if at that time you answer yes to any of them.

Masks must be worn at start of hike. A minimum distance of 2 metres must be kept between non related hikers and masks MUST be worn where this is not possible.

If you are registered and can't make it please delete your registration or email leader to let her know.

This Friday we will hike the Fletcher Creek Ecological Preserve. This is an important Ontario wet land where an abandoned lime stone quarry has been restored to natural habitat. The 4.5km of trails are flat and easy to hike and will take appr. 1.5 hours to complete. Conditions could be icy so wear appropriate footwear with icers if possible.

Take Downy Rd and drive south to Gore Rd (Downy Rd ends at Gore) turn left (east) onto Gore Rd and drive appr 7km to Concession 7 - turn left and in about 200 meters Fletcher's Creek parking area is on the right hand side. Meet for a 10am departure.
