CANCELLED Wed morning - GHTC Speed River trail (SRT) section 1

Registration open to GHTC members and non members. Before you can register for hike you must read covid-19 screening questions and be able to answer NO to all of them. You will be asked questions again before hike and not be able to join if at that time you answer yes to any of them.

Masks must be worn at start of hike. A minimum distance of 2 metres must be kept between non related hikers.

If you are registered and can't make it please delete your registration or email leader to let her know.

 This hike has been cancelled as trails to icy. Register for replacement hike that will walk Guelph City trails.

Meet 9: 30 at the gates of former Guelph Humane Society.. 500 Wellington Street West.
First rd to left after passing Hanlon over pass, then first road right.
We will be mostly hiking along the Speed river with beautiful views and through different types of forest and meadows. and looping around John Wood side trails 1 and 2.
There are 7 bridges built by GHTC volunteers.
There most likely will still be ice and some water/mud. Icers are a must  and poles will be helpful.
Speed moderate, level easy  about 2 hrs (7k)
