Meet in the Canadian Tire Parking Lot, 10 Woodlawn Rd. E., Guelph, for a 9:30 A.M. carpool departure to trailhead. Arrive at trailhead around 10:30 AM. Lunch on trail around 1:00. Plan to be back in Guelph between 4 and 5 P.M.

Located in Hockley Valley, this section of trail is twinned with Route 2 of the Jeju Olle Trail in S. Korea. Walk a soft winding trail beside several Km. of clear flowing streams. Tall hardwood, pine and cedar forests. Many short and sometimes steep, difficult climbs, but no rocky climbs or descents.

Bring at least 2 L. water, bug repellant, sun screen, lunch and snacks, rain jacket. No dropout. No dogs please. Hiking boots and a good level of fitness required.

Option for dinner at the Black Birch restaurant in Hockley Valley. Notify hike leader in advance by email if you wish to stay for dinner. If there are sufficient numbers, leader will then make a reservation at the Black Birch for 5 PM. You may want to bring a change of clothes if going for dinner.
