Preservation Park

Wednesday, May 31 - Preservation Park, Level 1, Moderate pace, 7.5 kms.  Depart at 9:30 a.m. for a 2-hour hike.  Meet in the large lot on the north side of Kortright Rd. West (of Edinburgh) in Hanlon Creek Park.  There is a splash pad near the parking lot.  This loop trail has forests and streams and meadows and peace with long winding boardwalks through dense cedar forests.  There are a few ups and downs on easy hills but it is mostly flat.  There may be some mosquitoes and other wildlife such as herons and turtles.
