Erin Village Loop

Wednesday, 28 June, 2023.  Erin Village Loop, Level 1, moderate pace, 7.8 kms. Depart from the Victoria Road RecPlex south of Eramosa Road (north end of parking lot) at 9:30 or meet at 10:00 at the Trailhead parking lot for the Elora-Cataract Trailway.  Turn east or right from Main Street onto Ross Street near the north end of the village.  The trail climbs up a steep hill to the local water tower (optional), where trees now block what once was a great view of the village.  We walk down the main street past plenty of restaurants and shops that add a different kind of sightseeing experience.  We also visit the Woolen Mills Conservation Area overlooking the West Credit River with great interpretive signs.  We will have a short break at the Tin Roof Cafe so bring some money if you wish.  Please let the leader know if you plan to meet at the Trailhead.
