Monday October 2 9:00 – 12:00
Rain /Snow date, October 3
We meet to attack the feared sumac at Weisenburg Road (Woolwich Twp 60) in Waterloo County (4 km north of the hamlet of Ariss, and 1 km east off of line 86). Loppers, small hand saws and gloves are all that are necessary. We do need gloved volunteers, to move the fallen sumac to a nearby ditch. Veterans of last year’s battle, with their wheelchairs or crutches, are most welcome to teach the new raw recruits how to survive.
Meet at 9:00 at Weisenburg Rd, being mindful of the very steep ditch (Jim), where we will silently creep up on the unsuspecting sumac in a lightning commando attack, lasting a couple of hours. We withdraw by 12:00 for sure!!
Call Mike Curtis to courageously volunteer at 905 877-4134 or email him at mikecurtiserin@yahoo.ca
We do not work in the rain!
