Fall Mushroom Foray - Cancelled

Unfortunately the mushroom expert had to cancel so this hike will not happen at this time.

Mushroom expert Tim Myles will guide us through the fascinating world of mushrooms.  Meet at 8:45, Starkey Hill parking lot, for a 3 hour informative experience with the fungi that grow in our forests.  You'll learn to identify which mushrooms are edible, which are poisonous, their names, their habitats and more.  After the hike join Tim for a wrap-up review of the specimens gathered by him (only he will do the gathering).  Wear appropriate clothing and footwear, poles may be useful.  Our foray may take us off-trail in places.
