This year's Guelph Hiking Trail Club AGM will be held in person!
Join us for the GHTC's 52nd AGM Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 7pm
All active members are invited to join us at The Arboretum Centre - University of Guelph at 7pm; advanced registration is not required. The Arboretum Centre is located at 200 Arboretum Road, Guelph.
Registration not mandatory but would be appreciated for ordering refreshments.

At the AGM we will move to accept the minutes of the 2022 AGM, receive reports from the Executive Committee (including the attached financial report and bylaw revisions).
Ontario’s Not-for-Profit Corporations Act (ONCA) took effect October 19, 2021. Provincially incorporated non-profits, such as the GHTC, have until October 18, 2024, to ensure their bylaws comply with ONCA. The GHTC Executive Committee has performed a compliance assessment and made necessary changes to the bylaws. The existing bylaws for 2023 are attached with proposed revisions highlighted in blue. Approval of the revised bylaws is part of the AGM agenda.
During the AGM we will also vote for the positions of President, Vice-president, Treasurer and Secretary. If you wish to nominate a GHTC member for any of these positions, please email Mike Curtis mikecurtiserin@yahoo.ca by November 16, 2023, to assist us in preparing for the election process.
After the official meeting closes, our guest speaker Justine Richardson, Director, The Arboretum will provide an overview of the vision for this unique Guelph gem.
