The Guelph Film Festival runs Nov 3-11and there are a number of films that may be of interest.

Saturday, Nov 4th 2:30PM Eco Doc shorts @ Guelph Civic Museum A series of short documentaries about ecological relationships.
Sunday, Nov 5th
2:30 PM Silvicola @10C downtown “A poetic and intimate glimpse into the people, processes, and paradoxes of modern forestry practices, offering a sensorially immense contemplation on the entanglement of humans, machines, and nature, set amongst the sprawling forests of the Canadian Pacific Northwest.”
7:00 PM Lynx Man @ The Arboretum (followed by a night-time walk) “Hauntingly beautiful footage captured by hidden cameras throughout the forest, paints an unforgettable twilight picture of the natural world, and our role to play in its care and protection.”
The festival is free for those under 30 this year!
*Note also that the Festival actively incorporates and amplifies Indigenous voices, stories and knowledge in its programming, adhering to the Indigenous Screen Office guidelines (might be worth a look as GUP efforts continue: https://iso-bea.ca/).
