Ignatius Old-Growth Forest Loop

 Wednesday, December 20, 2023.  Ignatius Old-Growth Forest Loop, Level 1, 4 kms, 1.5 hours.  Meet at the community mailboxes on Cross Creek Blvd, which is located on the east side of hwy 6, just north of Woodlawn Rd in Guelph.  This quiet loop explores a 38ha nature sanctuary comprising wetlands, waterways, meadows and forests, which has been protected by a conservation easement held by the Ontario Farmland Trust.  There may be wet spots or snow on the trail.  There will be an optional social time after the hike for coffee/tea or lunch at Lakeside Church on Conservation Road which holds a cafe run by Carriage House Catering. 

Please let me know if you wish to go to the cafe after our hike so I can tell them how many for our reservation.
