Preservation Park is a beautiful area with trails that meander through forests and meadows. We will start at the parking lot on Kortright Road and cross the road into the forest. Then hike the trails along the Hanlon Creek and back. We will then wander through the forest along the boardwalks and trails that wind through the area. Please note: the trails may be dirt-packed, muddy, uneven, and rocky. There are a few hills to go up and down.
Please bring water, snacks, and poles, if needed. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy hiking shoes.
Approximately 9 km, 2 and 1/2 hours, moderate pace
Parking - in the Hanlon Creek Park parking lot located at 505 Kortright Rd. West (by the splash pad).
