This is a loop hike along the main Bruce Trail and various side trails including the Bennett Heritage Trail that starts at Scotsdale Farm and the stunning Roberts Side Trail with it’s impressive boardwalk. We’ll cross Silver Creek several times on pleasing bridges, enjoy beautiful scenery and interesting trees, while taking in the wilderness of the Bruce Trail, passing babbling brooks, lush mature forests and incredible escarpment rocks!
Pace: Moderate
Hike Rating: Level 2, some hills, uneven terrain, some rocks, roots, a few muddy spots
Distance: 11 -12 km
Required: sturdy hiking boots or shoes
Recommended: hiking poles, water, snacks, lunch, sunscreen, hat, insect repellent
