This will be a reattempt of the hike scheduled for Nov. 10, 2024 which was cancelled due to weather.
On this hike we'll welcome the imminent return of winter! The forecast for this day is for sun, a bit cool, but most importantly dry.
Please join me on a hike that will follow trails along the Grand River in Kitchener, where we'll notice changes that signal winter's return - yippee!
Meet at the J.A. Pollock Family Trailway, Shirley Drive in Kitchener, (opposite BMW Grand River, https://maps.app.goo.gl/coh8RHGE8zGZwngZ8) at 9:00 AM November 16th. This location is the trail end. From here we will pile into a few cars to drive, (shuttle), to the trailhead. The trailhead is The Record Heritage Trailway:(https://maps.app.goo.gl/nqrgAbzsZEEgUxAA8). From here we'll walk back to the trail end at J.A. Pollock.
Distance: 19.5km. Terrain: level 2. Time moving: 4 - 5 hours. Pace: moderate to fast.
Hike leader: Ron Cherry, ronaldcherry002@gmail.com

If you plan to participate in this hike then on your drive to J.A. Pollock Trailway, please plan to leave some room in your car for two passengers. That way, if required you can help with the car shuttle from J.A. Pollock Trailway to The Record Heritage Trailway.
