Annual Christmas hike in St. Jacob’s

Join us for a festive hike along the Health Valley and Avon Trails in St. Jacob’s along the Conestogo River as we get into the Christmas Spirit! 

We will walk into the village, post hike, for a lunch stop at the fabulous St. Jacob’s grill. Option to shop and browse in the little village as well. 

Bring a change of shoes, as the trail may be muddy. 

Distance: 9km 

Difficulty: Level 1

Pace: Moderate-Brisk

Approximately 2hrs Hiking time

Meet at the Health Valley Trail Head in St Jacob’s @9:30am Health Valley Trail

Options to Carpool. Meet ready to leave at 8:40am 

1- Covered Bridge Parking lot Covered Bridge

2-Arkell Road side parking Arkell

Please let the hike leader know if you choose to carpool. And be mindful of the post hike activities if you are needing to get back at a certain time. 

Required: Hiking shoes/boots and dress for the weather. 

*Starting December please have microspikes in your hiking bag for all winter hikes.
