James Street-RLT-Royal Rec Trail

When:  Wednesday 15 Jan, 9:30-11:30 am

Where to meet:  Guelph Covered Bridge parking lot

What:  We'll hike through Marianne's Park up the James Street Trail and beyond to take in part of Section 1 Radial Line Trail.  Back via Royal Recreation Trail.  This picturesque hike takes us along the Eramosa and past interesting cliff formations.  Trails are mostly level and wide, although James St. section is narrow and rocky in places.  A mix of tree-covered and open terrain. 

Level 1, moderate pace 3.5 km/hr.  Base distance roughly 6 km with the option of longer hike adding 2-3 km, depending on conditions and enthusiasm. 

Dress warmly.  Icers & poles strongly recommended.
