Spring Weekend Short Hike - Cataract/Trestle Bridge Trails

Meet at 9:20 for 9:30 departure - 9:30-11:00

 We will hike along the Cataract, Terrace, Museum, Trestle Bridge and Aboyne trails. These trails are relatively flat however in the Aboyne Forest, the trail does have uneven areas and there a few staircases we will need to use.

We will stop to view the Grand River then descend down the staircase to hike along it through the Aboyne Forest. 

Please note - spring weather is unpredictable - please be prepared for muddy, slushy, icy or snowy trails  icers/micro spikes may be needed  

Length: approximately 1 1/2 hrs -  5.6km

Pace: moderate - approximation 4km/hr

Parking:  389 Beatty Line North, Fergus (across from the CarQuest) 

Required: water, hiking shoes/boots, icers/micro spikes (we may need them) dress for weather  

Optional- poles

No dogs please
