Here's how:

Meet at the trailhead, near 200 Sheffield St, Cambridge by 9:10 AM.

A walk in the forest in the city.  We'll walk the Mill Run Trail from the trailhead on Sheffield St. to Riverside Park, following the Speed River.  In Riverside Park we'll cross the pedestrian bridge over the Speed River and walk the boardwalk to watch the many birds that live there. Downy and Hairy Woodpeckers, Red Bellied Woodpeckers, Nuthatches, Cardinals, Blue Jays and the occasional Owl. Be sure to bring seeds for the birds. 

The total distance out-and -back is 10 Km. Pace will be moderate.  Terrain is easy. Total walking time about 2.5 hours.

Option for lunch post hike at Four Father's Brewing or Ernie's Roadhouse or other.
