Nature Walk for Health - Grand Valley Trail to Kissing Bridge

This walk is focused on the goals of the PaRx program.

Meet at the J.A. Pollock Trailway on Shirley Drive, directly across from BMW Grand River in Kitchener by 8:55 AM for a 9:00 AM departure to the trailhead. Google map of carpool location. Please join the carpool as parking is limited at the trailhead.

Trailhead is Short St. in Winterbourne - On the Grand Valley Trail

From there we'll hike to the Kissing Bridge in West Montrose. The trail passes through old growth forest beside a stream, crosses open field, and includes walking on a road used mainly by horse and buggy.

The Kissing Bridge is currently closed for repair. We will be unable to cross it.

Distance: 8 Km., Terrain: 1, Pace: Moderate. Walking Time: 2 hours.

Lunch in Conestogo post hike at Rumbletum or Crowsfoot.

The trail crosses private property where land owners sometimes allow their dogs to roam onto the trail. If you aren't comfortable around large dogs off leash, this hike may not be for you.
