This Hike is in the Beaver Valley Section of the Bruce Trail
The Second Chasing Waterfalls Hike (more to come).
Carpool:
Meet in the small parking lot next to CIBC at 9 Woodlawn Rd.. W., at 7:50 AM for an 8:00 AM departure to the trailhead. The trailhead is the parking lot at Eugenia Falls, Pellisier St. Eugenia, ON. Contact a leader if you want to join the hike at the trailhead.
There is a charge per vehicle for parking of $10.00 plus tax, payable onsite.
Travel time is 2.5 hours return. Carpool drivers will be asking for a small amount to help to pay for parking and for fuel. Please bring some cash.

Details:
We'll start our hike at Eugenia Falls, take the main Bruce Trail to a side trail and a loop which will lead us to Hoggs Falls. Lunch at Hoggs Falls, while sitting on the ground. Bring a small ground sheet to sit on. After lunch we'll complete the loop and take the main Bruce Trail again back to Eugenia Falls.
Highlights are Eugenia Falls and Hoggs Falls which at the time of the prehike in early May, had a very large flow. Many hills to climb and pretty landscapes to admire. Much is a narrow dirt trail but there are some parts which are rocks and roots.
Distance: 14Km. Pace: Moderate. Terrain: 2+. Hiking Time: 3.5 - 4 hours.
Travel Time: 2.5 hours return.
What to Bring:
At least 2L of water, lunch, snacks, raincoat, small ground sheet, tick and mosquito repellant, sunscreen, sunhat, change of socks, hiking poles. Hiking boots required. No dogs please. No dropout.
