Hike in Dundas Valley Conservation Area
Time: carpool - meet at 8:30am in the back parking lot of Stone Road Mall. (By the parkade) 435 Stone Road West
Driving yourself - meet at the Trailhead at 9:30am - 650 Governors Rd, Dundas - please drive to the second parking lot. You will see a trailhead sign and it is the larger parking lot.
There is a fee to enter the area or you can use a Hamilton Conservation Pass (if you have one).
Please email hike leader if you are driving yourself.
We will hike along the trails and see Carolinian forest, the Hermitage Ruins, the Hermitage Cascade, Canterbury Falls and Sherman Falls. The trail is mostly gravel trails with uneven areas and a few steep hills.
Length - 12km, approximately 3-4hrs including short breaks, moderate pace (4km/hr)
What to bring - water, hiking shoes, snacks, bug spray, sunscreen, dress for the weather
Optional - pole(s)
