This Hike is Focused on the Goals of the PaRx Program

Spending Time in Nature boosts your immunoproteins and virus fighting cells.
Adults who take short day trips to the woods boost their levels of immunoproteins and natural killer cells for at least 7 days.

Carpool:
Meet at the Carpool Lot Hwy 401 exit 299 Morriston Queen St/Brock Rd S (Hwy 6) at 8:45 AM for an 8:50 AM departure to the trailhead.  If it is more convenient for you to carpool from another location or if you will be joining the group at the trailhead, please advise the hike leader.

he hike will start at 9:30.

Hike Description:
The hike will start at 9:30 from City View Park following the City View Park side trail for a short distance before joining the main Bruce Trail  The trail passes through tall hardwood forests on a soft winding footpath of soil and woodchips. Signage along the trail gives a hint of where the woodchips came from.  There are some rocks and roots, but no significant hills.  We'll stop at Smokey Hollow Falls for about 15 minutes before turning back.

Distance: 10 km.  Pace: 3.5 Km/hour.  Terrain difficulty: 2.

What to Bring:
Snacks, rain gear, small first aid kit, health card, bug repellant, sunscreen. Hiking poles optional. Hiking boots required.  No dogs please.
