Please meet at 8:45am for 9am hike departure
Hike name: Imperial Rd, Speed River, and John Woods Trails
Hike description: We will be hiking along the Imperial Rd. side trail to join the Speed River trail. We will check out the lookout trails with benches with views of the Speed River. Then continue on through the forest to Niska Rd and return using the John Woods side trails, the Speed River and Imperial Rd trails.
The trail will have sections that uneven with rocks and roots, dips, grassy/muddy areas, bridges, and gravel.
Pace: 4.5 km/hr, approx.9 km, 2 hrs
Parking: Tim’s Hortons Plaza at the corner Wellington and Imperial Rd. Please park along the Wellington Rd. side
Required: hiking shoes, dress for the weather, I.D.
Recommended: water, hiking poles, small first aid kit
No dogs please.
