Wed morning hike - Preservation Park

When:  Wednesday 19 November, 9:30 - 11:30

Where:  Meet at the Hanlon Creek Splash Pad parking lot, 505 Kortright West for 9:30 start.

What:  This hike will take us into Preservation Park along Hanlon Creek and on a network of forest trails.  Conditions may be muddy in places, although a good portion will be under tree shelter.  Terrain is mostly level and leaf covered but rocky/rooty in places.  Boardwalks may be slippery so wear hiking boots with good traction. Poles your choice as are icers if conditions turn snowy/icy.  Bring water.  Optional lunch at Fat Duck (pub food) after.

Distance:  7.5 km, pace moderate.
