Hike description (where you will hike) including the following information:
We will hike from Short Hills to Louth Conservation are on Bruce Trail. We will walk through the forested hills of Short Hills Provincial Park, then on the escarpment to Rockway Conservation Area, and further to Louth Conservation Area. In the process we will stop by or take a couple of side trails to admire the Swayze and Terrace Creek falls in Short Hills Provincial Park, Rockway and Louth falls.
After the hike, optional visit of Flat Rocks Cellars winery located a short distance from our end point or maybe going for a bite somewhere.
Meet at 9:00 am at the parking area of Louth Conservation Area, (43.121706, -79.351235).
If possible, carpool to our starting point to reduce your carbon footprint and lessen the need for parking space. However please be aware we need some free spots in the car for car shuttles. Carpool options will be communicated later.
From there we will organize the car shuttle to the beginning of the hike at the Short Hills parking area off Pelham Rd (43.102185, -79.272096).
This is a winter hike, please dress accordingly in layers, and bring a hat and sunscreen. Wear good hiking boots; bring rain gear and icers, and hiking poles if you like using them. Bring water, snacks and pack a lunch - we will stop for lunch around noon.

- Hike pace: Moderate, 3.25 km/hr. About 5.5 hours + car shuttle time.
- Hike difficulty: Difficult. Some hilly sections and uneven terrain. Be also aware of the length of the hike and winter conditions.
