Robertson Tract & HAFTA Trails

Difficulty: Level 2+ - rocks, roots, uneven terrain, snow coverage, poor footing
Details:
This multi-use, biking and hiking tract, is part of the Halton Regional Forest, Britton Complex. The single-track trails are managed by Halton Region and maintained by HAFTA (Halton Agreement Forest Trail Association). We will start off on the Robertson Tract Access Road and then hike in this lovely forest along the single track, mostly unmarked HAFTA bike trails, including Lost Guy, The Den, Wally and the Beav and more. We may be sharing the trails with mountain bikers.
What to Bring:
Water, snacks, sturdy footwear, hiking poles recommended, hot drink (optional if the weather is cold), Health Card/ID, personal first aid kit. Dress for the weather.
You are required to bring icers/crampons for winter hikes.
No dogs please.
Carpool Option: Meet at 8:45 AM for an 8:55 AM departure from the Rockmosa Community Centre, 110 Rockmosa Dr., Rockwood (south side of tennis courts)
