Scotsdale Farm Loop in Winter

Hike description (where you will hike) including the following information:
End the January with a hike! Join Joanna on the Bruce Trail section in Silver Creek Conservation and Scotsdale Farm (heritage farm). Immerse yourself in nature surrounded by unique wetlands and ecologically sensitive forest. We will walk the main Bruce trail and some of the side trails.

Hike starts at 9:30 am
What to bring: Good hiking shoes are recommended. This is a winter hike, I recommend trekking pole(s) and icers (just in case). Gaiters are nice also. Be prepared for all weather conditions and dress accordingly (layers are great in winter). Pack some water and snacks and lunch.

Hike pace: Moderate 3.5 km/hr, about 4.5 hours.
Hike difficulty: Hike level 2 (intermediate), terrain is packed soil, rocks, roots (as this is winter hike – can be snowy, muddy or icy). There are few hills to climb.
