Scotsdale Farm, Thursday Fast Hike

Hike Time: 9:30 am - approx. 12:00 pm
Location: Scotsdale Farm: 13807 Trafalgar Rd, Halton Hills, ON L7G 4S4
Please arrive at the parking lot at 9:20, for 9:30 hike departure.
Difficulty: Level 2 (sustained brisk pace, rocky/icy stretches, few short water breaks)
Pace: Thursday fast-paced hike, brisk 4.5-5.5 km/hour (as fast as conditions allow).
Terrain: Stretches of uneven potentially icy terrain, rocks; may be slippery/muddy.
Length: Approximately 10 km loop
Required: hiking shoes, icers/cleats, health card, personal first aid kit; dress for the weather, water
Recommended: hiking poles, snacks, sunscreen.
Trail: From the trail head we will make a loop following the Bennett Heritage trail to the Bruce trail and back to Scotsdale farm. This route offers a good variety of terrain. Rocks, roots, foot bridges, streams and wonderful views. It can get muddy in some areas depending on the weather.
