Wed morning hike - Historical walking tour through Ward

When:  Wednesday 25 February, 9:30 - 11:30 am EST

Where:  Meet at Covered Bridge Parking lot at 9:15 for a 9:30 departure.

What:   Bill Mungall, GHTC member and Guelph Arts Council tour guide, will be our guest guide on this hisorical walking tour through the Ward, the oldest and one of the most picturesque parts of Guelph.  He will lead us through the fascinating life and times of this area, commenting on its residential and industrial past, its buildings of note, and the people who settled there. This is a moderately-paced sidewalk hike but possibly icy, so appropriate footwear/icers and dress advised as conditions require.  Water, poles your choice.
