Join us for an evening hike on the Radial Line Trail on parts of Sections 3 and 4!  We will start our hike along a farm field and then head into the woods and down a steep bank into a creek valley.  After crossing the creek on the Cove Bridge, we’ll pass through a mature hardwood forest followed by a cedar wood and another creek crossing over a smaller bridge.  Once we get to the Guelph Line, we’ll take a snack and water break and then turn around and enjoy everything from the other side on the way back!

The ground is uneven with rocks and roots in places.  There are some steep hills to go down and up, and the path is muddy at times. Please wear appropriate footwear. A very short part of this hike is along the shoulder of a travelled road.

Carpool option: Meet at the Covered Bridge on Gordon Street in Guelph at 5:20pm for a 5:30pm sharp departure by carpool to the trailhead.

Trailhead option: Meet at 5:50pm at the trailhead at the T-junction where the east end of Arkell Road meets the Nassagaweya 1st Line (park on the west side of the road by the super mailbox just south of Arkell Road). Hike departure is at 6pm sharp so as to make it out and back before sundown.
