CarPool Option : GRCA Park passes for 3 Vehicles.
Meet at 110 Rockmosa Drive, Rockwood, the Rockmosa Community Hall, next to the tennis courts at 9:00 AM for a 9:15 AM departure to the trailhead.
Bring water, snacks, hiking poles optional. Dress for the weather. No dogs please.
Hike Description:
We will start this hike at 9.30 a.m. from the FIRST car parking area on your left in the park. We will hike the Pot Hole Trail to the Old Mill ruins, continue to see the caves, double back and pick up the Cedar Trail, taking in the Lookout point, then continue around the lake and campsites. Finishing back at the top carparking area. From here you have a choice to finish the 6 km hike, or do the small loop around the Pot Hole Trail in reverse, returning back to make this an 8 km [approx] hike.
