Kissing Bridge Trail End to End
Come join us for our third annual end to end hike, June 7th, 2026.
We will hike the entire Kissing Bridge Trail, from Montrose (Kissing Bridge) to the Covered Bridge, on Gordon St. in Guelph. See Guelph Hiking Trail Club Handbook p. 68 -79.
Length: 25 km,
Pace moderate 3-4 km/hr. Mostly flat walking on a multi-use limestone trail. (different pace may be possible depending on number of registations)
Time 5.5-6 hours plus carpool/Bus time to start. (A bus will be ordered if more than 25 hikers register at 10.00 pp.)
Level 2 due to length
Bring Water, a lunch and some snacks. This hike will run rain or shine.
Meeting Location: Meet at the Covered Bridge in Guelph at 8:30 am check-in.
Car shuttle will be used for this hike. (If more than 25 hikers register we will look into ordering a bus to the west Montrose Bridge at a cost of approx. $10.00 each)
Bus will be there at 8:15 am
Bus will depart at 8:45 am or earlier if all registered are present
Please also note that the 5 KM trail run also happens at 9:00 am so the parking lot will be busy between 8:30 and 9:00 am.
This hike will be volunteer supported with at least 2 drop out points along the way. Snacks and water provided at various location along the hike by volunteers.
Coveted Bridge to Bridge Badges available for purchase on our GHTC website (leader will have a few badges at the end of the trail). Badges are $5.00 each.
Registration will open May 20th and close on June 5th.
What to bring: Water, snacks, lunch, a hat and sunscreen. Wear good hiking boots/shoes: Bring rain gear if needed. Hike will take place rain or shine.
