Ignatius Old Growth Forest

Hike name: Ignatius Old Growth Forest

Time:  – 6:15 – 7:30 meet at 6:15pm for check in and meet and greet time. Hike starts at 6:30

Hike description: Starting from Victoria Rd. N., we will enter the trail and meander through the forest over boardwalks and trails. Along the way, we will see some old ruins, the Speed River, Marden Creek, and meadows. The trails are relatively flat with uneven terrain (rocks and roots). Due to weather conditions, we may encounter muddy and wet trails.

Pace: 4 km/hr, approx. 5km,  1 ¼  hrs

Parking: roadside parking along Victoria Road North, approx.. 1km north of Woodlawn Rd E. – look for the pedestrian crosswalk lights by the entrance to the Guelph Lake trails

Required: hiking footwear, dress for the weather, I.D., bug spray

Recommended: water, hiking pole(s), small first aid kit

No dogs please.
