Radial Line and Side Trails Series #4

Please meet at 8:30 for 8:45am hike departure

Hike name: Radial Line and Side Trails Series #4

Hike description: From the Starkey Hill parking lot, we will cross Arkell Rd. then hike along the Arkell Springs side trail to join the section 2 of the Radial Line trail. Then we will pass through the gate and start section 3 and hike a couple of side trails. After a short break by the Eramosa River, we will head back following the trails through the forest. There are few steep hills to go up and down, and uneven terrain – rocks, roots, trees to step over, muddy and wet areas.

Pace: 4 km/hr, approx. 9 km, 2 ½ hrs

Parking: Starkey Hill parking lot on Arkell Rd. There is also parking along Arkell Rd – just watch for the no parking signs 

Required: hiking shoes, dress for the weather, I.D.

Recommended: water, hiking poles, small first aid kit

No dogs please.
