This hike will be an out and back along section 6 of the Radial Line Trail. We'll walk through meadows and woodlands, cross the Blue Springs Creek and wind through a coniferous plantation. The terrain is varied, including some rocky inclines. The walking will be a little more rugged than on some parts of the RLT. Some sections can be quite muddy depending on the season and how much rain has fallen recently. There is a steep hill that we will be climbing and descending twice.
Meet at the Covered Bridge in Guelph just before 8:00 am. We'll carpool to the trailhead and hike the full section 6 (5.13 km), have a snack and water break and then head back, seeing everything from the other side on the way back to our cars. Email me or text me if you plan to meet us at the trailhead.
