Hike: Forks of the Credit
Carpool – meet at the covered bridge in downtown Guelph at 8:45 for 9:00am departure
Meet at the trailhead at 9:45am – please email the hike leaders to let them know.
Hike description: Starting from the main parking lot of Forks of the Credit, we will hike along the trails through the forests, along the river, and up and down hills. The terrain will be uneven due to rocks and roots and there may be muddy sections. There are a few steep hills to go up and down.
Pace: 4 km/hr, approx. 9 km, 2 ½ hrs, Level 2
Parking: main parking lot of Forks of the Credit Provincial Park – 717760 McLaren Road, Caledon Village, ON
If you are driving: There is an entry fee – please reserve your parking using the Ontario Parks website – if you have an Ontario Parks pass, use that
Required: hiking footwear, dress for the weather, I.D., small first aid kit
Recommended: water, hiking poles, sunscreen, bug/tick repellent
No dogs please.
