Royal Recreation Trail, Riverside Park to Victoria Rd. N.

Hike name: Royal Recreation Trail, Riverside Park to Victoria Rd. N. 

Time:  – 6:15 – 7:30 meet at 6:15 pm for check in and meet and greet time. Hike starts at 6:30

Hike description: Leaving from the Carousel, we will follow the trail across the bridge along the Speed River, and then cross Woodlawn Rd. From there, we will follow the Royal Recreation Trail to Victoria Rd N and return. The trail is relatively flat with uneven terrain and most likely some wet and muddy sections. 

Pace: 4 km/hr – approximately 6 km, 1 ¾ hr

Parking: Riverside Park, Guelph – the large parking lot at the end of Marilyn Drive then look for the Red Carousel near the concession stand. 

Required: hiking shoes, dress for the weather, I.D.

Recommended: water, snack, sunscreen, bug/tick repellent

No dogs please.
