Hike: Radial Line Series – Sections 3 and 4

Date: Sunday, July 5, 2026

Time: meet at the trailhead parking area at 8:45 for 9am hike start.

Pace: approximately 4km/hr, 9km (out and back), 2 ½ hrs

Hike Description: We will cross First Line, then hike along a farm field and then head into the woods and down a steep bank into a creek valley.  After crossing the creek on the Cove Bridge, we will meander along the trail through the forest to Guelph Line then return back to the starting point. 

The ground is uneven with rocks, roots, some steep hills to go down and up, and the path is muddy at times.

Carpool option: Meet at the Covered Bridge on Gordon Street in Guelph at 8:15am.

Trailhead option: Meet at 8:45am at the trailhead at the T-junction where the east end of Arkell Road meets the Nassagaweya 1^st Line (park on the west side of the road by the super mailbox just south of Arkell Road). Do not park in front of the mailbox. Parking is limited so consider carpooling. 

Required: hiking shoes, dress for the weather

Recommended: water, sunscreen, snacks, bug spray/bug netting

Optional: poles

No dogs please.
