“Discover ancient trees, explore cracks and crevices, and search for fossils as you follow the river through a cedar forest that hugs the clifftop high above the gorge.” - Nicola Ross
We will pass several lookouts over the 22m-deep canyon and have opportunities to climb down to the gorge (optional). The terrain is rocky with roots so hiking boots and poles are recommended. Bring water, bug repellent, a snack and your health card.
Optional coffee/tea/lunch in Elora after the hike.
